OPEN SEW TUESDAY

Our classroom is open for you & your friends. You may use our cutting station, rulers and iron. We have a limit of 8 so please RSVP.

INTRO TO GARMENT SEWING

Would you like to alter your clothing and start from scratch? You can learn about fabric, how to read a pattern, how to measure yourself for a correct size, making a pattern, and putting your garment together. You must sign up a least 1 week before class and talk to instructor before class.

KIMBERBELL CLUB

With the new year, we are modifying our Kimberbell class. It will now be the Kimberbell Club. The difference will be that you will pick/decide what project you want to work on. Anything Kimberbell, regardless if it's a Bench Pillow, Mug Rug, Towel, Quilting with Clear Blue Tiles, Table Runner and more. You bring your machine, fabric, design and supplies and Carol will help you with the techniques used in various projects. Please sign up in advance so we can make sure we have enough room, as the Embroidery Machines take more room. Need a design? We can provide one of our dealer exclusives for an additional fee.

Class Guildlines


Most classes are to learn a technique. You will not get the project finished in class unless stated. As long as your sewing machine is in good working order and you know how to use it, you will be able to learn the featured technique.

Please, you must register in advance so that we can be prepared.

Classes


In this class/ Block of the Month you will learn a new machine stitching technique each month, bobbin work, piping, couching, and more. Learn what wonderful things you can do with your sewing machine. After all why did you get a machine with more than 1 stitch? Start with block #1, on the 2nd Sat. in July.

As with any art form, to truly master your skill you first need a solid foundation of the basics. If you are new to machine embroidery or want a refresher of the essentials, this club is for you! This is a skill building course allowing you to gain the knowledge and confidence to embroider a variety of projects incorporating various thread types, embroidery techniques and let?s not forget those challenging ? unhoopables.? Make the most of your embroidery investment and have fun!! 6 Classes - $150 (3rd Saturday - January*, March, May, July, September, November) *Our first class will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022. If you are brand new to embroidery, please attend the Getting to Know Your Machine on Saturday, January 15. This will allow you to be better equipped to participate in the class.

Pat M will be your guide, she will offer help and information to get you started. Then continue as needed to learn more advanced techniques, such as ruler work. You will be able to network with other quilters to find out what works and what doesn't for them.

In this 7 part class, you will learn to make 9 different quilt designs using the Westlee ruler starter set. Start with learning some basic grids and move up to a Spinning Wheel design. You will get a code for videos that you will need to watch before each class. Then come to class for hands on learning. At the last class you will put all of your quilted sections together for a 60" x 72" quilt.

Reversible T-Shirt Quilt Kit with NEW Sash-In-a-Dash casing to join blocks together. No need to struggle quilting a big heavy quilt. Quilt each square individually then join together. Kit includes 16" square press cloth, 14.5in square template to center and mark t-shirts, 24 pre-cut 14.5in squares of fusible interfacing, 12 pre-cut 14.5in squares of batting, 7.5 yards of Sash-In-A-Dash casing to join blocks together and 6 yards of binding to finish the quilt. Sashing available in three colorways, black, navy or red. 2 sessions.
